Toby and the missing screw...

Derek and I decided to take on a nice Sunday afternoon project of assembling Jocelyn's changing and side table. I purchased both from Ikea, so as you know, they come in one million pieces. Once again, handy dandy Derek came to the rescue and put them together...and I was his assistant (A.K.A- I just watched).

The changing table is a little on the "tall" side, but I assured Derek that it would be the perfect height for him to change Miss J's diapers. (wink, wink)

Now, for the cute part of the story. We dumped the gigantic bag of nuts, bolts and screws onto the floor to make sense of them. I caught Toby once taking one of the pegs in his mouth and running out of the room ever so sneaky. I yelled at him, he came back and dropped the peg. Then, towards the end of the assembly, we were down just one screw. Hmmm...where could it be? We got the flashlight out and scavengered around the house looking in Toby's favorite hiding places. We did find the screw under our bed (along with some other missing items). I just had to take a picture of the little man, because who could be mad at this sweet face!!

6 Month Belly Shot

My sweet Aunt Martha was visiting her grandson at A&M and picked up this cute t-shirt for me. Now that I actually fill it out, I thought I would post a picture of me in it for you. THANK YOU, AUNT MARTHA!!

Productive Weekend!

A very productive weekend it was, indeed! My older sister Kim flew in from Indiana to help pick out all of the nursery decorations, and was a HUGE help! She arrived on Thursday night, and the shopping began on Friday. Blaire, Kim, Linda and I headed out Friday morning and ordered the crib, bought the changing table, side table, chandelier, lamp, wall decor and picked out all of the fabric for the nursery bedding!! On Saturday, we headed out again to get the final touches, the rug, the glider, curtains and rods...and I can't remember what else. I literally have everything either purchased, or on order for the nursery...I can't believe it.

I am also very excited about the nursery bedding. Below is a sneak peak of the fabrics I plan to use. There is no "theme" per se, it is all about the color. Kim's sweet mother is making the nursery bedding and it is going to be sooo cute, and "over the top" as Derek says.

A pictures of me and my two sisters. Please ignore the gladiolas that are protruding from our heads??
